Curing cancer is something that people take many different approaches to. Our own expert took an unconventional approach. Some of his cancers, like the melanoma, were treated by surgery. "I try to effect a positive and curative long term change of lifestyles and beliefs by imparting hope and a sense of well being, by teaching non-traditional cures for other cancer sufferers.". "What was I to do?"
What he did not do was follow all of the advice of his oncologist. But when he realized that the very doctors who were recommending radiation and chemo would not go that route themselves, he realized there was a serious problem.
It all came down to the fact that radiation can cause cancer, and so can the drugs used in chemo. Our expert determined that the best treatment involved a complete overhaul of lifestyle, including detoxifying his body, changing his diet, getting more exercise, and improving his spiritual state. He was encouraged after meeting other cancer patients that were coming to the same conclusion. He also advocates for non-traditional cancer treatment. And it all worked: barely one year later, he was cancer free.
"To this day I continue following my protocol," he says. "In the summer of 2009," he recalls, "when I returned home after a haircut, I examined myself in the mirror and noticed a small, raised, dark brown lesion with indistinct borders on the final third of my right eyebrow. One of the things that makes him so powerful is that he is a self-cured cancer survivor, and a living example of how effective non-traditional treatment can be.
Our expert is a retired dentist who trained in maxillofacial surgery, which is a specialty that combines dentistry, medical and surgical knowledge. But it got worse: after a complete physical exam he was diagnosed with three additional cancers. "It was late November, 2009, and I was being urged by four different doctors to undergo the traditional western medical treatments of ‘cut, burn and poison' therapy" – that is, surgery, radiation, and chemotherapy.
Dr Arthur Kanev is a powerful advocate for non-traditional cancer treatment. "Four different types of deadly cancers at once," he says today. Having seen, diagnosed, biopsied, confirmed and surgically removed hundreds of cancerous lesions in my professional career, I knew that I was in big trouble."
That lesion was diagnosed as a malignant melanoma.
